Revenue is a flow, not a report
A month-end report tells you what happened. A flow shows how much is sitting in each stage, what share moves on and how long it takes.
Steinert Analytics helps DME and HME operators, virtual care and provider groups, and healthtech revenue teams find where revenue is stuck, and build what gets it moving.
Healthcare companies earn revenue long before they collect it.
A referral comes in, an authorization goes out, care or equipment gets delivered, a claim gets billed and a payer decides what to pay. Each handoff lives in a different system, so leaders can see the total but not where the money is waiting.
That's the problem we were built to solve. We put a dollar figure on every stage, then fix the stage with the most money in it.
From sales reporting to enterprise data, and back to the revenue.
Christian Steinert sold cars at 19 and pitched Tableau as a sales tool during a college internship. He started his career in channel marketing analytics at Vertiv.
He moved to Updox, a telehealth software company in Dublin, Ohio, as a business intelligence analyst and built sales reporting on Salesforce.
At JLL, a Fortune 200 commercial real estate firm, he became lead data architect on a data pipeline covering $80B in assets under management.
He founded the firm in Central Ohio, then left a newly earned promotion to run it full time.
Early clients included software and roofing companies. That work taught us that data only counts when it shows up in the bottom line.
We narrowed our focus to healthcare and healthtech, then built one method around one question: where is revenue stuck?
What makes us different from a typical data consultancy.
A month-end report tells you what happened. A flow shows how much is sitting in each stage, what share moves on and how long it takes.
We don't begin with a platform or a backlog of dashboards. We begin with the number your leadership team is judged by, and work back from there.
Your team decides what counts as a referral, a deal or a customer. Without that, no dashboard will be trusted, however well it's built.
AI is only as good as the context behind it. In healthcare, that context comes from people who know how revenue cycle works, and they stay in the loop.
Our four core values, and what they look like in the work.
You can see how every number is calculated. When we miss, we tell you. A vendor change once left a client's revenue cycle reporting stale for three days, and we owned our part in it.
We set expectations early, keep you updated and do what we said we'd do, even on the small things. Every open decision has a date.
We'll tell you what the data shows, even when it isn't what you hoped to hear. We want the same from you, and the best idea wins no matter who had it.
Payers, rules and tools keep changing, so we keep studying. Part of that happens in public, through our podcast conversations and weekly writing.

Steinert Analytics was a game-changer for our digital health tech company. We had a massive amount of data from various EHRs handled by one of our data engineers who departed. Steinert Analytics came in and served as the backbone for our data infrastructure in a pinch.

Steinert Analytics has been an instrumental partner in successfully migrating to a Fabric Lakehouse structure at my company. … They have been consistent thought partners and are actively engaged in serving our company goals alongside us. … Their character and ability speaks for itself.
For the first time in my career, my team spends more time on analysis than data preparation. We've identified millions in optimization opportunities we simply couldn't see before.
The transformation went beyond cost savings. We now trust our data completely, make decisions faster than our competitors, and our teams are energized working on strategic initiatives instead of maintenance tasks.

Healthcare revenue moves through intake, prior auth, delivery or care, billing and payers before it becomes cash. Finding where it sticks takes people who know that path, so that's the only work we do.
Unrivaled transparency, communication, egoless candor and a thirst for continuous learning.
Christian holds the stage map, the dollar figure and the client relationship. A team of specialists builds on the tools you already run.
We're based in Columbus, Ohio, and we serve healthcare companies across the United States.
